Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify vehicle issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Assist in vehicle inspections,



including heavy lifting tasks and routine maintenance checks to uphold safety standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience demonstrating strong automotive repair skills
- Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software for accurate troubleshooting
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing engine systems, electrical components, welding techniques, and assembly processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities
- Experience working with vehicle schematics and performing complex repairs in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
