Overview

We are seeking a dynamic line cook to join our team within the food service and hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in a team environment and strong cooking skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to set up daily operations, ensure food safety standards, and deliver exceptional products to an already established and thriving business.

Prior bakery experience is highly valued, along with familiarity with food handling and leadership in food industry settings.

Responsibilities

- Follow recipes and instructions to produce various food goods
- Maintain quality control by inspecting finished products
- Innovate and develop new products, catering to customer preferences.
- Keep a clean and secure work workplace
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in other areas of bakery production as needed
- Prepare and coordinate food service activities, including cooking and food presentation to meet safety and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Be involved with team meetings,



provide coaching, and support staff development initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage bakery operations

Requirements

- Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and use of bakery equipment
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to pivot and find solutions to minor problems
