Licensed X-Ray Technologist (Part-Time / On-Call)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and patient-focused Licensed X-Ray Technologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Toronto. This position is ideal for an individual looking for flexible, part-time employment with variable hours based on clinic needs.

The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while ensuring patient safety, maintaining professional standards, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician requisitions and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout all procedures.
- Operate and maintain digital X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate imaging records.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection prevention practices.
- Maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, clinic staff, and patients.
- Comply with all applicable regulatory, privacy, and professional standards.

Qualifications

Required:





- Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) (preferred or as applicable).
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Proficiency with digital radiography systems and electronic medical records is an asset.

Schedule
- Part-time
- On-call
- Variable hours based on clinic needs, mininum 16hours weekly.
- Some evening and/or weekend availability may be required
