We are seeking experienced, reliable, and motivated Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our fast-paced catering team supporting television, film, commercial, and live event productions. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of experience in high-volume kitchens and thrives in a team-oriented environment where quality, efficiency, and consistency are essential.

This role requires someone who is organized, dependable, and passionate about preparing fresh, high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Follow recipes precisely and execute at a high level
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Strong knife skills
- Work with a sense of urgency within a team of chefs
- Highly organized and self motivated
- Desire to move up to the next level of junior sous chef

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen, catering operation, or similar environment.
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong cooking skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Flexible availability, including early mornings,



evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling practices
- Experience with meal preparation, including working with various kitchen equipment and tools
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
- Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and develop culinary skills
