Job Overview The Windsor Club is one of the premier dining experiences in the City of Windsor. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, food preparation and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met.

The Line

Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food service and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
- Follow proper food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage and temperature control
- Support the restaurant’s service by serving dishes promptly and accurately when needed

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments required




- Post Secondary culinary training or schooling preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Solid teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- The ability to work efficiently and in a clean manner, while maintaining the highest level of standard set forth by the chefs
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
