Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols
- Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of freshly prepared dishes to guests
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,
notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with kitchen routines and standards
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly in a quick-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices to ensure guest safety and compliance
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Previous kitchen experience that showcases teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
