A private Clinic in Antigonish isseeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage September 14th, 2026 to September 25th, 2026. Part time or full-time coverage would be appreciated

Responsibilities

- delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
- work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
- utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members

Remuneration

- guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day)
- additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded.
- accommodations up to $300 per night
- travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500)

The Clinic is home to two Family Physicians, supported by experienced clerical staff. The clinic features two exam rooms,



providing a comfortable and functional workspace. There are no call or inpatient responsibilities, allowing for a balanced and predictable workload. The practice is equipped with an established Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring productive patient care and documentation.
