Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage Air Export, Ocean Export, and Ocean Import shipments. The successful candidate will coordinate shipments from origin to destination, ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, communicate with customers and carriers, and provide exceptional customer service in a quick-paced freight forwarding environment.

Duties

- Coordinate and manage Air Export, Ocean Export, and Ocean Import shipments from booking through final delivery.

- Open files and file E-manifests accurately

- Arrange transportation and booking with airlines, ocean carriers, trucking companies, and overseas agents.

- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, commercial documents, and customs-related documents.

- Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers.

- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company procedures.

- Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and service issues promptly and professionally.

- Communicate effectively and regularly with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and overseas agents.

- Negotiate freight rates, service levels,



and transit times with airlines, ocean carriers, trucking companies, and other providers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.

- Obtain freight quotations, compare rates, and prepare quotations for customers and overseas agents.

- Verify freight charges, process billing, and ensure accurate documentation.

- Maintain accurate shipment records and update the company’s system

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding.

- Experience handling Air Export, Ocean Export, and Ocean Import shipments.

- Knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping procedures and documentation.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple shipments.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
