Role Description This is a full-time remote Long Haul Truck Driver role, with driving duties performed on the road and administrative tasks managed remotely. The driver will operate company trucks over long distances to deliver goods to environmental sector clients, following planned routes and schedules. Daily responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, securing loads, completing logbooks and delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and safety issues.

The driver will adhere to all traffic, safety, and environmental regulations, perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns promptly. The role requires consistent overnight and multi-day trips, professional interaction with customers,



and careful handling of materials in line with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for long haul operations; clean driving record and experience with long-distance trucking.

Robust knowledge of road safety regulations, hours-of-service rules, and environmental compliance standards relevant to transport services.

Ability to complete trip logs, delivery paperwork, and basic digital documentation; comfortable communicating with dispatch via phone or electronic systems.

Skills in route planning, time management, and adapting to changing road, weather, and delivery conditions.

Capability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks (tires, fluids, lights, securing loads).

Reliability in working independently on the road, maintaining professionalism with customers and partners, and handling materials with care.

Physical ability to sit for extended periods, handle loading/unloading tasks as required, and comply with company safety practices.

Previous experience transporting goods for industrial or environmental companies is an asset; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
