The Maintenance

Manager will oversee a skilled maintenance team in a unionized workplace, ensuring compliance with OHSA and Worksafe BC regulations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a focus on reducing downtime while improving costs associated with maintenance. You'll address production and equipment issues with proactive strategies and effective communication across departments. Key Responsibilities:

- Direct plant maintenance team activities and schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards




- Manage the Preventative Maintenance Program effectively
- Continuously improve equipment performance and maintenance cost
- Oversee capital project implementations with contractors

Requirements:

- Bachelor's in Engineering or trade certification preferred
- Minimum 8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
- 5+ years in a management role required
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming beneficial
- Strong oral and written communication skills needed
