CORNERSTONE MEDICAL CLINIC

We are looking for a Part Time Medical Receptionist in a busy downtown family practice, starting as soon as possible.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday – Hour to be determined.

Main Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

EMR - PS an asset

Greets and directs all patients and visitors to the office.

Checks patients in – checks health card and roster status.

Answering/directing calls

Booking and rebooking appointments

Handling patient payments and provides receipt.

Prepares notes, letter, etc as requested.

Photocopying/faxing/scanning

Checks e-mails for appointment requests, prescription queries, etc.

Maintaining and modifying electronic medical records

Educational Qualifications:





Candidates should have post-secondary education relevant to the position ideally a certificate in Medical Office Administration. Knowledge of Medical Terminology is required.

Experience with Electronic Medical records.
