POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for an experienced METAL FABRICATOR – CNC WATER JET TABLE OPERATOR.

Required skills & Experience:

- Minimum 1 year experience operating a CNC water jet table
- Proficiency with CNC programming for fabricating parts
- Red Seal Metal Fabricator or Sheet Metal Worker Journeyman certificate is a strong asset
- Layout and measurement skills
- Drawing and assembly reading ability
- Forklift experience would be an asset

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a CNC water jet table to precisely cut sheet metal
- Set up, load, and unload sheet material and completed parts from the water jet table
- Prepare, verify, and run CNC cutting programs to produce parts according to drawings and specifications




- Label, organize, and maintain completed parts for each project, ensuring all components remain together and are ready for downstream operations
- Maintain accurate tracking of completed parts and promptly communicate any shortages, damaged parts, or discrepancies
- Rig, hoist, and move materials in the shop
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop standards
- Participate in improving CHW's quality and productivity by collaborating in continual improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with peers to keep learning and progressing in your trade
- Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor
