Senior Product Designer UX & Motion

On-Site (Oakville) · Full-time · $60,000–$70,000 CAD

Mobii builds cloud-native products that power live sports for some of the biggest names in broadcasting: Fox Sports, Warner Bros. Discovery, NASCAR, and IndyCar. Our platform drives real-time content production, dynamic broadcast graphics, interactive streaming experiences, and performance analytics that change how fans engage with live sports and how teams understand it.

We're looking for a designer who can do two things most people can't do at once: think through complex UX problems from a blank page and create broadcast-grade motion graphics that hold up on air.

This is not an execution-only role. You'll be handed problems, not solutions: pitch briefs, brand-new applications, real-time data challenges. You'll be trusted to own them from concept to production.

This role is a great fit if product ownership energizes you. You're the kind of designer who takes a loose goal and runs with it: framing the problem, sketching flows, and coming back with a direction rather than waiting to be handed one.

What You'll Own

Design UX for recent and existing sports applications:

defining information architecture, user flows, and interaction patterns from scratch, often for problems no one has solved yet.

Take a defined product ask and think through the full UX yourself,

from flows to structure to interactions, without needing the solution spelled out for you.

Solve for dense, rapid-moving real-time data:

making complex information instantly readable under live conditions.

Understand a brand deeply and turn it into broadcast graphics proposals:

reading each client's visual identity, tone, and on-air needs, then pitching motion and graphics directions that fit the property.

Design and animate sports overlays, real-time stat visuals, and branded motion that elevate the product, not just decorate it.

Build production-ready flows, prototypes, and specs in Figma that developers can build from without guesswork.





Partner directly with developers and product owners:

defending your decisions, integrating feedback, and shipping on non-negotiable live-broadcast timelines.

Drive design reviews and QA on builds,

and validate decisions through user testing and benchmarking.

Contribute visuals and motion for pitches, marketing, and broadcast graphics when needed.

Who You Are

3-5 years designing digital products. What matters more than the count is a clear track record of owning UX for applications end to end,

not just supporting or polishing someone else's work.

A product thinker first, a beautiful executor second.

You can do both, but you lead with problem-solving.

Self-directed and fast.

You thrive on ambiguity, run several projects in parallel, and consistently hit tight deadlines without losing quality.

Deep Figma craft

components, auto-layout, variants, and advanced prototyping.

Strong command of visual hierarchy, composition, and flow logic,

plus the judgment to know what to cut.

Genuine motion design skill as part of the UX process

(After Effects, Rive, or similar). Motion is something you reason with, not bolt on at the end.

Comfortable in a high-pace environment where live events don't wait.

Bonus Points For

Experience designing data-heavy or real-time interfaces.

Design systems experience (Ant Design, Material Design, or one you've built yourself).

3D modeling or animation as part of digital storytelling.

Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
