Assume a pivotal role as a Municipal Drainage Superintendent, leading projects and ensuring compliance with the Ontario Drainage Act while supporting community drainage needs. Engage with landowners and enhance service delivery. This position involves direct reporting to the Senior Manager of Capital Projects and Engineering, coordinating improvements and inspections of municipal drainage systems.

You’ll serve as the Municipal Weed Inspector and manage compliance with relevant acts. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are vital for effectively handling drainage matters and engaging with stakeholders throughout various projects. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage drainage projects liaising with landowners
- Conduct inspections of flood structures and drainage systems




- Review and provide insights for engineering reports
- Supervise weed control and invasive species programs
- Complete grant applications under the Agricultural Drainage Program Requirements:
- Must hold a Civil Engineering diploma
- Valid Ontario Drainage Superintendent certification
- 3-5 years experience in municipal roles
- Knowledge of municipal legislation and practices
