AWOT Global Logistics (Canada) Corp. is hiring an Ocean/Air Operations Specialist to join our fast-growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with basic to intermediate knowledge of global logistics who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate ocean and air shipments from origin to destination.
- Prepare and send daily pre-alerts.
- Process billing and dispatch freight.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support day-to-day logistics activities while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

- 1+ year of experience in global freight forwarding, preferably with a freight forwarder or in-house logistics team. Co-op, internship, or part-time experience will also be considered.
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional and accurate emails for clients, vendors, and internal teams.




- Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic to intermediate negotiation skills and financial awareness related to logistics services such as trucking and warehousing.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
