Responsibilities





- Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures
- Perform preliminary tests and gather patient history
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Epic or similar software
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits
- Clean and maintain optical equipment and instruments
- Process insurance claims and verify coverage
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient journey

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or optometry office environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing phone calls
