Compensation

$19.35 per hour (effective May 01 2026)

Physical Requirements

- Walking, standing, bending, crouching and twisting for periods of time.
- Ability to work in various conditions, including inside the shop, underground in the garage space, and outside.
- Exposure to heat, rain, smoke, and noise.
- Lifting – Exerting 20 kg of strength occasionally, and/or 10 kg of strength frequently or constantly to move objects.

Skills

- Previous experience in golf industry, guest service, or retail.
- Strategic decision‑making, conflict resolution and organizational skills.
- Team player who can demonstrate qualified communication and respectful collaboration.
- Familiar with operating a Point of Sale and Tee Sheet Management System.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to respond and manage multiple demands (anticipate and respond).
- Valid Driver’s License.

Primary Responsibilities

- Understand, follow, and enforce golf policies and procedures to ensure smooth, consistent, and efficient operations.
- Manage all bookings, rentals, sales, and payments through the Point‑of‑Sale System as trained.
- Ensure all guests have completed relevant information, e‑mail, credit card, and waivers.

- Responsible for cleaning, charging, and staging power cart fleet.
- Ensure Pro Shop and outside service areas are clean,



safe and presentable through regular cleaning.
- Obtain strong knowledge of all products and their benefits to assist guests with purchasing decisions.
- Greet and interact with members, guests, and staff in a respectful, courteous and efficient manner.
- Perform daily inspections and account for cart and club rentals.
- Record keeping; monitor and report any damage or concerns immediately.
- Operate according to the code of conduct, mission, and values of Sun Peaks Resort LLP and Golf Operations.
- Health and Safety; immediate action required when concerns arise. Report to Manager.
