Job Summary

Join our dynamic dental team as a Part-Time Dental Receptionist, where your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. We are seeking a part time person for Mondays 11:30 - 7:00 pm as well as 2 Saturdays per month from September to June. There will be training days before you are left on your own. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment and support our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our dental practice management software, Curve.
- Answer inquiries, direct calls, and provide information efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, utilizing electronic medical records systems
- Verify insurance information, process payments, and handle billing inquiries with professionalism




- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely patient flow
- Keep the front desk organized, manage office supplies, and perform general administrative duties

Requirements

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or dental background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management software is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Experience with office administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and insurance providers
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
