We’re looking for an experienced Pastry Assistant/Cake Decorator to join our passionate team at our Portuguese bakery! This role is ideal for someone who already has knowledge and experience making Portuguese pastries, can bring expertise to the kitchen, and help maintain the high standards our customers know and love.

NOTE: Must have ability to work flexible hours between 6am and 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday

What You’ll Do:

- Prepare a variety of traditional Portuguese pastries, including pastéis de nata, cakes, and seasonal specialties
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity, using a variety of different icings and toppings
- Stay on top of daily production needs, know what’s low, what’s missing, and what needs to be made
- Maintain top-tier quality and freshness in everything you make
- Multitask efficiently and work cleanly in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with our team to ensure our showcases stay full and beautiful
- Handle food safely and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation and packaging as needed

What We’re Looking For:





- Previous Portuguese pastry experience is an asset as we’re looking for someone confident in their craft who doesn’t need to be taught the basics
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Reliable, responsible, and takes initiative
- Someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and has a passion for baking
- Artistic skill in decorating desserts

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

- Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
