Lead payroll operations for BCIT's Finance Services Department as a temporary, full-time Payroll Manager. This role focuses on payroll accuracy, compliance, and managing a dedicated team. In this critical managerial role, you'll support the Controller while developing strategies for the payroll function.
With at least six years in payroll management, you will verify complex transactions, oversee year-end reporting, and collaborate with various departments. Your expertise in payroll systems and compliance will drive continuous improvement and service excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll function and develop operational plans
- Verify complex payroll and benefit transactions
- Oversee year-end reporting for taxation compliance
- Liaise with staff and management on payroll matters
- Collaborate with Financial Systems for efficient processing
Requirements:
- Professional accounting designation, CPM or PCP certified
- Minimum 6 years in payroll management
- Robust knowledge of payroll systems and practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
