We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Permanent Part Time Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This vital role ensures the smooth and secure operation of the front desk during overnight hours, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining accurate financial and operational records.
The Night
Auditor acts as the first point of contact for late-night arrivals, departures, and guest inquiries, all while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism. Duties
- Welcome and assist guests during late-night hours with check-in, check-out, and general inquiries using courteous phone etiquette and front desk procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently to handle guest requests, reservations, and internal communications
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, reservations, and billing records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks of the premises during overnight shifts
- Provide guest services by addressing special requests, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive stay experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area to promote a professional environment
- Document shift activities through detailed reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to ensure seamless communication between shifts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a strong asset for effective communication with diverse guests
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for financial audits and record keeping
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and professionalism
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service best practices
