Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Help clients with mobility exercises or transfers to promote physical health and independence.




- Document care activities accurately in client records and communicate any changes or concerns to supervisors promptly.

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is not necessary, training is provided.
- Background in senior care, including working with individuals with disabilities or dementia.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities.
- Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and home care tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs while maintaining professionalism.
