Looking for Saturday pharmacist and potentially 1 other weekday per week

In this vital role, you will oversee medication dispensing, provide expert advice on drug therapies, and ensure the highest standards of patient care within a rapid-paced, cooperative workplace. Duties

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper dosage and administration instructions are provided to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review medication therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients and caregivers on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to promote safe medication practices.
- Maintain precise records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and inventory management in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting treatments as necessary in consultation with medical staff.
- Manage medication inventory levels, order supplies,



and ensure proper storage conditions for all pharmaceuticals.
- Stay informed about new medications, medical terminology, and industry regulations to uphold best practices in pharmacy care.

Requirements

Experience with Fillware software

- Valid pharmacist license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working as a pharmacist in hospital or acute care environments.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Experience providing patient care with a focus on safety, education, and personalized service.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage prescriptions accurately under pressure.
- Pediatric experience is highly desirable for serving diverse patient populations effectively.
