This position is for an independently owned community pharmacy in Burlington. We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant , talented , hard worker , who is passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers and delighting them every step of the way! to become a part of our team!
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients
- Data entry of patient information
- Third Party adjudication
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
- Assist in the preparation of medications and other healthcare products for patients under the direction of a pharmacist
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pick up Job
Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in English
- Previous experience in pharmacy is preferred.
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Knowledge of Kroll is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour
