SGS is seeking Pipeline Inspectors (General, Welding, Coating) for a project in Northern Ontario with competitive pay of CAD 900 per day. Work duration varies based on assignment needs. We are looking to fill 6–8 positions for experienced Pipeline Inspectors to support a critical integrity dig program set to begin in early July 2026.
Preference is given to candidates with welding or coating inspection experience, but all experienced pipeline inspectors are welcome. The project is expected to continue into mid-November 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with construction specifications and regulations • Assist in daily safety meetings and hazard assessments • Verify contractors adhere to safety plans • Oversee all stages of integrity dig activities • Maintain accurate inspection reports and project records Requirements:
- 3+ years of General Inspection experience • Certification in API 1169 and 1184 is required • Proficient knowledge of pipeline construction procedures • High school diploma or equivalent • Preferred: 8–10 years in oil & gas pipeline experience Join SGS in Northern Ontario and make a difference in pipeline safety and quality.
