Duties
- Supervise and direct plumbing crews to ensure timely and accurate installation of plumbing systems according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to align schedules and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Monitor work quality through regular inspections, ensuring adherence to safety standards, building codes, and client requirements
- Manage procurement of materials, tools,
and equipment needed for plumbing tasks while maintaining budget controls
- Implement quality control procedures to verify proper installation practices and troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in commercial or residential construction projects with a focus on plumbing systems
- Extensive construction experience including reading blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating
- Robust knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction environments
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, scheduling, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in quality control processes to ensure high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle
