Four curatorial postdoctoral research fellowships are available focusing on European and American Art before 1900, Indigenous Americas and Africa, International Modern and Contemporary Art, and Photographs. Each fellow will collaborate closely with a collection curator, diving deep into significant artworks and cultural contexts. The role requires residence at the university to enhance community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct in-depth research on selected artworks • Collaborate with the Indigenous Consultation Committee • Compile bibliographies and exhibition histories • Write didactics for public displays • Update museum collections management database

Requirements: • Recent PhD in art history or related discipline • Solid interest in community engagement and archival research • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Familiarity with collections management databases beneficial
