Lead the transformational journey of Intact’s Policy Administration System. Seeking a seasoned Principal Software Architect to shape AI-enhanced solutions and secure data across a hybrid work environment. Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Personal Lines, you’ll own the comprehensive architecture and strategy for our in-house PAS platform.

This role focuses on integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI and modern engineering practices while ensuring regulatory compliance in a mission-critical setting. You will have the authority to influence decision-making and guide engineering excellence across diverse teams. Key Responsibilities:

- Own the architecture and future roadmap for PAS
- Integrate AI innovations into the policy lifecycle




- Lead the transition off legacy systems to modern solutions
- Ensure robust data security and regulatory compliance
- Mentor and grow the engineering community across the organization

Requirements:

- 15+ years in software engineering and architecture
- Proficient in Java, Angular, and RESTful APIs
- Strong experience in AI application within development
- Cloud platform expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
