Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes. This vital role involves supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. As a Private Caregiver, you will deliver attentive assistance with daily activities, promote independence, and foster a warm, trusting relationship with clients.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care such as medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces to maintain a secure environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being




- Coordinate with healthcare professionals for medication management and treatment plans
- Maintain detailed records of care provided and any changes in health status

Qualifications

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care environments
- Strong background in senior care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Knowledge of medication administration and patient care protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Valid certifications in caregiving or nursing-related fields preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet client requirements
