Sudbury, ON | On-site | 40 hours/week | 6-month contract

Azure Technical is seeking a Procurement Data Analyst for a client in Sudbury, Ontario . This junior-to-intermediate-level contract role supports procurement managers at our client by maintaining reliable data, scrubbing and cleaning past data sets, completing data analysis, and helping identify opportunities for better buying or improving departmental processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, validate, and organize procurement data from internal sources.
- Use Microsoft Excel to analyze purchasing, supplier, spend, and operational data.
- Prepare recurring reports, summaries, and data files for procurement managers.
- Identify data-quality issues, discrepancies, and trends for manager review.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and standardized reporting formats.
- Support managers with process-improvement initiatives, documentation, and ad hoc analysis.
- Assist with updating and refreshing Excel-based trackers and reports.
- Work from home will not be possible.
- Manage data/information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.





Qualifications

- Relevant Degree or Diploma.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data cleaning and analysis, including formulas, filtering, sorting, lookups, and pivot tables.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work accurately with data.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle to travel to the on-site Sudbury work location.

Compensation

- 30 - 45 CAD/hr. gross, depending on experience and qualifications.
- No benefits.
- 8% leave.
