Purpose
ThepurposeoftheProgramEstimatoristogenerate,trackandcommunicateestimating activities for new and existing customers. The Estimator will be responsible for quoting programs in its entirety. Job Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving and preparing RFQ (Request for Quote) based on customerrequirements,creatingscreendumpsofpartswithdimensionsforvisual reference Accountablefordownloadingandappropriatelystoringdatafromcustomer websites and discuss issues/concerns/requirements with customer Ensurestokeepestimationlogsofallquoteactivity-organizeestimationsby customer
Responsibleforobtainingaccurate¤tpricingandanyotherpertinent information for materials selected Ensuringproperdecisionmakingasrelatedtocavitationoftoolbasedonannual requirements, part complexity and size Responsibleforcollaboratingwithtoolshops,sharingrelevantdatafor estimations on molds and check fixtures
AcceptPurchaseOrders(P.O)awardedfromquotes,comparingallinformation, details & parameters match the actual P.O.Example: Cycle time, weight etc. Assistsinsupportingprogramlaunchand sourcing Ensurestoenterhistoricaldatainformationintodatabaseas required
WorkwiththeProgramManagementteamtoexplaincosttocustomer&provide; analysis when required Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum3years'experiencewithin Manufacturing workplace. Automotive experience is an asset! University degree or college diploma in engineering. Impeccableoralandwrittencommunication&presentationskills;,withtheability to interface with management
Proactiveviewtoidentifying&drivingfinancialbenefitsforour; clients Provensuccessfullaunchesofpreviousprograms(ontime&onbudget;) an asset Abilitytothink&executestrategicallyandisresults; oriented

AsaProgramEstimatoryouwillberesponsibleforfacilitatingquoting activities, approving inputs, ensuring manufacturability, managing projects, and correcting documentation, quality and manufacturing issues. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge and experience within manufacturing with technical understanding andhaveexcellentcustomerserviceskillsandsupplierrelationsskillsincludingnegotiating and follow-up.
