Contribute, as part of the corporate exploration team, to technical projects with geological aspects(e.g. geological modelling, database validation, project evaluation etc.).

Ensure best technical practices are introduced or continued for use on our exploration projects. in project evaluations, M&A; targets or inhouse projects. Communicate progress of technical work to the immediate team on a regular basis.



Technical assistance for exploration projects and target generation when needed Complete any field work with a clear understanding of Hudbay's safe work practices.

Strong competence in applying best practices to our projects & mine sites. University degree, advanced degree (MSc or PhD) an asset. Fluency in English required, Spanish an asset. Strong technical background in multiple geologic environments (Porphyry, Orogenic Gold, Skarn and/or VMS).

Skills: Proficiency with GIS and 3D modelling software. Base salary $119,000 - $149,000 CAD per year.
