Project Manager

Employer is a leading project management and consulting organization dedicated to delivering projects that make a meaningful impact in communities. The organization partners with clients to deliver capital projects that strengthen the built environment, including critical infrastructure, municipal facilities, and complex building developments.

Employer is seeking a Project Manager to join their British Columbia team in Victoria. This role is ideal for an experienced project leader with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception through completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong client relationships, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience in municipal infrastructure, facilities, or mixed-use project delivery is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing expertise in the design, construction, and operation of infrastructure and building assets.
- Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded while representing their best interests on contractual and technical matters.
- Select, organize, and lead project teams while establishing clear lines of communication and authority.
- Manage project documentation and ensure all work is delivered in accordance with established quality management processes and procedures.
- Chair project and site meetings, facilitate issue resolution, and coordinate among multiple project stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates through schedules,



meeting minutes, financial reports, and other project documentation.
- Oversee change management processes, payment certifications, and project-related administrative requirements.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and overall performance to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally representing owners and managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience delivering projects of varying size and complexity within municipal infrastructure, facilities, or mixed-use environments.
- University degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
- E.I.T. or P.Eng. designation required.
- Extensive client-facing experience and demonstrated success in project delivery.
- Experience leading or contributing significantly to the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and contract awards.
- Strong knowledge of design and construction delivery methods.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions and resolve client, project, and technical issues.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
