This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys administrative work and supporting purchasing operations.

General Purpose:

To support purchasing and procurement activities, including supplier coordination, price comparisons, and inventory support. The ideal candidate is reliable, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers, systems, and vendors.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Assist in sourcing products and supplies from approved vendors
- Request quotations, compare pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare, review, and process purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and deliveries
- Track purchase orders and follow up on delays, backorders, and discrepancies
- Maintain and update supplier lists, contracts, and pricing databases
- Support inventory tracking, reporting,



and reconciliation
- Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing Department

Requirements and Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, purchasing, shipping or administrative support
- Strong organizational and data entry skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Excellent command of English with strong spelling, vocabulary, and business writing skills
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills are considered an asset.
