Job Title: Manual QA Engineer – CBX (Corporate Banking Exchange)

Location: Remote (Canada)

Working Hours: PST

Contract: Long term We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in the CBX (Corporate Banking Exchange) platform to join our QA team supporting enterprise banking initiatives for Vancity. The ideal candidate will have solid manual testing expertise, banking domain knowledge, and experience validating complex corporate banking applications and integrations. Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

Perform end-to-end manual testing for the CBX (Corporate Banking Exchange) platform.

Validate corporate banking functionalities including payments, account management, entitlements, and transaction processing.

Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues.





Validate APIs using Postman or similar tools whenever required.

Perform backend data validation using SQL queries.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Ensure all testing deliverables are completed within project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.

Hands-on experience testing the CBX (Corporate Banking Exchange) platform.

Strong experience in manual functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

Solid understanding of Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking processes.

Experience validating payment workflows, account services, and banking transactions.

Strong SQL skills for database validation.

Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
