To use nursing process in providing patient care in a primary nursing environment. To participate as a member of the Health Care Team and the Nursing Team. To maintain nursing records. Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (in good standing)

- Minimum of 2 years working experience in an Inpatient Mental Health and/or addictions setting, is required.

Canadian Mental Health Nursing Psychiatric Nursing

Certificate is preferred

- Proven to have experience in an acute Mental Health setting
- Ability to conduct Mental Health Assessment with excellent interviewing and communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Community Mental Health Resources
