We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions to improve patients' physical function and overall quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, along with the ability to develop individualized care plans for patients across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify physical impairments and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement effective physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy, acute care strategies, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding home & community care options.
- Work with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics,
and individuals requiring outpatient or inpatient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Experience
Candidates should possess
- A degree in Physiotherapy or a related field with relevant licensure.
- Experience in acute care settings, hospital environments, or clinics is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy practices.
- Familiarity with care planning processes and discharge planning protocols.
- Previous experience in home health or community-based physiotherapy is advantageous.
