The primary role of the Research Assistant is to assist in CREATE's research activities in data science and digital health. The research assistant will contribute to a variety of projects, with primary focus on research in machine learning for remote patient monitoring, including conducting systematic scoping reviews of emerging literature. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
3+ years of research experience, prior experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) methods is considered an asset
Experience supporting research projects in a healthcare setting, collaborating with clinicians, researchers, and external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proven experience with data collection, management, and analysis
Robust verbal and written communication skills, including creating and maintaining accurate and robust documentation
Ability to work effectively within a team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
