Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, offering expert advice on gardening, landscaping, and horticulture supplies
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising strategies to enhance customer engagement
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly
- Keep the sales floor organized and well-stocked; assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions
- Solid communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Knowledge of NHL, MLB, NBA,NFL AND Soccer teams
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service to create a welcoming shopping environment
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and independence
