About the Role
No insurance experience? No problem! We provide full training and help you obtain your Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence.
Compensation -****Non-licensed candidates: $40,000 base salary + commission
Licensed candidates (1+ year insurance experience): $45,000 base salary + commission
Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Handle inbound customer calls and other communication channels.
- Develop expertise in auto and property insurance products.
- Accurately enter underwriting information into the quoting system.
- Present quotes and explain coverage options.
- Sell insurance policies based on customer needs.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional coverage.
- Answer customer questions regarding coverage, claims, deductibles, and policy details.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Proven sales success.
- Strong computer and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- French/English bilingualism is an asset.
- Insurance experience is not required.
