Our client is seeking a Risk & Finance Technology Consultant to lead a strategic technology assessment across Capital Markets, Treasury, and Risk functions. This high-impact consulting role will focus on current and future state assessments, technology strategy, architecture recommendations, and evaluating emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to support enterprise transformation.

Contract: 6 months (with potential extension)

Hybrid: 1 day onsite per week (Thursday)

Location: Toronto, ON

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

- Lead enterprise technology assessments, including current state, future state, and gap analysis.
- Develop technology strategies and roadmaps across Risk, Treasury, and Finance.
- Evaluate technology architecture and emerging technologies, including Generative AI.
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
- Recommend modernization opportunities for risk and finance technology platforms.

Must Have:





- 15+ years of technology consulting or enterprise technology strategy experience.
- 10+ years of experience across Risk Management, Treasury, and Finance Technology within Capital Markets.
- 5+ years of experience with QRM, WKFS, and Regnology.
- Experience leading enterprise technology assessments and architecture reviews.
- Solid stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and its application in financial services.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience working in Capital Markets technology environments.
- Experience defining enterprise technology roadmaps and modernization strategies.
