Duties & Responsibilities
- Reports to work in required uniform and in adherence with Prestige policy
- Greets guests with a smile and in a warm and courteous manner
- Responds to guest requests promptly
- Provides courteous guest service
- Performs cleaning procedures daily in guest rooms and public areas according to Prestige standards
- Works as a team player
- Becomes familiar with various room types
- Handles lost and found items
- Maintains security measures
- Restocks housekeeping carts daily with supplies
- Maintains equipment
- Observes and reports any repairs needed
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager
What does an ideal candidate look like?
- Must like to have fun at work!
- A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn
- Must have availability on weekends and holidays
- Prior housekeeping experience is an asset but NOT required
- Neat and tidy appearance as this position deals with the public
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
