We're Hiring – Part-Time Rustproofing TechnicianLooking for a part-time job with a excellent team? We're hiring a Part-Time Rustproofing Technician to join us at Krown Port Colborne.What we're offering:

- Minimum 20 hours per week
- Mostly afternoon shifts (3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) plus some weekends
- Mid-August through December 31
- $22.00/hour plus a generous end-of-season bonus*.

*Notice the asterisk? Don't worry—we'll get to that.What you'll be doingYou'll be rustproofing vehicles at our Krown location on Elm Street. Training begins in mid-August and will take place during daytime hours for approximately two weeks.A typical day looks something like this:

- Greet the customer and take their keys.
- Drive the vehicle onto the hoist (bonus points for not driving through the wall or off the hoist).
- Apply the rustproofing treatment.
- Wash the vehicle.
- Bring it around for the customer.
- Repeat.

Sounds easy, right? Well... not exactly.Rustproofing is a skilled trade that requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of how vehicles are built. Knowing where rust starts, where to apply the product, and just as importantly, where not to apply it, is critical. We provide full training, but we're looking for someone who already has an automotive background.What we're looking forYou should:

- Have an automotive background.




- Be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Have basic mechanical knowledge. If a hose leaks, fix it. If a nozzle plugs up, unclog it. We like people who solve problems instead of staring at them.
- Take pride in your work. We're not looking for the fastest person—we're looking for someone who can produce the same high-quality application on the first vehicle of the day as they do on the last.

Reliability mattersWe're looking for someone who:

- Shows up on time (surprisingly rare these days).
- Keeps the phone in their pocket while they're working.
- Cleans up after themselves.
- Doesn't call in sick every other week.
- Commits to the full four-month season.
