We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating footwear and driving sales through effective communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding shoes that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers effectively
- Upsell additional others such as shoe care and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate cash handling and transactions
- Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers during busy periods
- Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone or via other channels
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Support store organization and cleanliness to create a welcoming shopping environment

Skills

- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
- Bilingual abilities (English and other languages) are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred




- Knowledge of cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Time management skills to prioritize responsibilities during peak hours
- Merchandising expertise to create appealing displays that attract customers
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication

Working conditions:

Full time

- 30-40 hour / week (excludes 30-minute lunch break)
- Hours may include evenings and / or weekends.

Part time
- Up to 30 hour/week (excludes 30-minute lunch break)
- Hours may include evenings and / or weekends.

Work activities involve standing and/or walking is incidental to the work being performed.

Desired skills / requirements

- Proficient spoken and written English, French is an asset.
- Punctual, meticulous, presentable, and reliable
- Courteous with staff and the public
- Detail oriented
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
