About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Salesforce Senior Developer to join their enterprise technology team in Toronto. This role is ideal for a senior Salesforce qualified with extensive experience delivering large-scale Salesforce implementations, leading technical teams, and integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Own all technical aspects of Salesforce implementations, customizations, and enhancements.
- Design and develop scalable solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and related Salesforce technologies.
- Lead Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications such as Oracle, SAP, and other third-party systems.
- Plan and execute complex data migration and ETL activities while ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Manage Salesforce development workstreams and provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Define and enforce development standards, architecture, deployment strategies, and best practices.
- Oversee release management and CI/CD processes for Salesforce deployments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes using Salesforce capabilities.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and mentor junior developers.
- Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support all phases of Salesforce implementations, including requirements gathering, design, development,



testing, deployment, training, and production support.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of relevant Salesforce experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Minimum 3 years leading enterprise Salesforce implementations supporting more than 300 users.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or similar systems.
- Experience leading at least one complex data migration or ETL implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration tools such as Informatica Cloud or similar.
- Strong expertise in:
- Apex
- Visualforce
- Lightning Experience
- Salesforce Platform
- Java
- AJAX
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, and Release Management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and enterprise application integration.
- Experience working within global delivery and Agile environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with AppExchange products and custom Salesforce applications.
- Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of application architecture and integration patterns.
