Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and productive part time (permanent fixed hours from 10 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday, if you are looking for seasonal job please do not apply)Sandwich Maker to join our team in providing high-quality food service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the food industry, contributing to a positive dining experience for all guests.

Duties

- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices and adhere to food handling regulations
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts




- Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen organization
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks effectively

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.80 per hour
