Join MDA Space as a Satellite Flight Software System Engineer, leading embedded flight software applications for advanced satellite programs. As a key member of MDA's team, you will be responsible for defining the architecture and implementation of Satellite and Payload Flight Software.

Your experience with real-time systems and embedded Linux will be essential to ensure performance, safety, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve integration challenges and maintain traceability throughout the program life cycle. Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and translate functional and security requirements
- Define FSW architecture and isolation logic for FDIR




- Communicate technical status and risk assessments
- Develop and support Flight Software Verification Plans
- Mentor junior engineers in technical best practices

Requirements:

- B.Sc. in relevant engineering field and 10+ years’ experience
- Familiarity with CCSDS, ECSS, and embedded Linux
- Hands-on experience with systems integration processes
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, French a plus
- Security clearance for Controlled Goods Program required
