Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional in Fort Erie, ON.

Position Title: Security Professional Position Location: Fort Erie, ON Pay Rate: $18.61 per hour Status: Casual Position Shift: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun; Various shifts. (Wide Availability is required).

Overview: Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in Fort Erie, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a qualified demeanor, willing to work various shifts including nights, and able to work with a dynamic team.

Requirements: Must be a citizen or permanent resident.

Must be able to work for a minimum of 24hrs a week.

A full valid driver's licence (Class G) is an asset.

Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.

Valid ON Security Guard License.

Must be able to escort contractors and guest through the facility.

Must be comfortable walking for a long period of time through the shift.

Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is a must

Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.

Experience with report writing and note-taking.

Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.

High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions : Conduct patrols of designated areas to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises





Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities

Escort contractors and guests through the facility providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies

Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols

Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken

Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively

Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution

Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks

Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation Benefits: Opportunities for career growth and advancement.
