Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build the next generation of security-focused AI systems. As a Security Operations Analyst, your real-world SOC experience will directly shape how AI models reason through threats, triage alerts, and respond to incidents — making AI smarter and safer for the entire industry.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for experienced security professionals who want to put their expertise to work on something genuinely impactful.
- Analyze realistic SOC incident and alert scenarios, identifying what's happening and why it matters
- Classify alert severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
- Review detection logic and investigation workflows for accuracy and real-world alignment
- Evaluate AI-generated security outputs and flag gaps between AI reasoning and how analysts actually work
- Provide structured feedback that helps AI systems better mirror skilled threat detection and response
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles
- Familiar with SIEM platforms, alert triage workflows, and investigation methodologies
- Skilled at separating true security signals from background noise and false positives
- Able to clearly articulate your reasoning and document findings in structured formats
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an async environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or red/blue team operations
- Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK;, NIST, or similar
- Prior exposure to AI evaluation or data annotation workflows
