Your role encompasses the full range of functions performed in a public accounting and advisory practice for the clients allocated to you, including, without limitation:

- full-cycle bookkeeping and maintenance of accurate, complete and timely financial records and the general ledger;

- bank, credit-card and general-ledger reconciliations, and preparation of journal entries and adjusting entries;

- accounts payable and accounts receivable management, including invoicing, collections and vendor payments;

- month-end and year-end close, and preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable standards (including ASPE);

- preparation and filing of tax and information returns (including T1, T2, T3, GST, HST, PST and payroll remittances);

- preparation and filing of T4, T4A and T5 slips and summaries, WorkSafeBC and Employer Health Tax filings, and other statutory remittances;

- preparation of and assistance with compilation engagements,



year-end working papers and supporting schedules;

- payroll processing and related compliance;

- budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and financial analysis for allocated clients;

- CRA correspondence and audit or review support, including responding to notices, reviews and information requests;

- client onboarding, and the setup and maintenance of accounting systems and software (for example, QuickBooks and Xero) and the chart of accounts;

- review and supervision of work prepared by junior staff, and related quality control;

- management, review and servicing of the client accounts and relationships allocated to you; and
- all related administrative, review, quality-control and client-communication tasks, and such other duties

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
